Mrs. Alagiah Niranjani (Ranchi), who was born and resided at No. 23, Jaffna Road, Jaffna, passed away peacefully in Jaffna on Tuesday, 06-01-2026.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Balakrishnan and Saraswathy,

The loving wife of Mr. Alagiah,

The dearly loved mother of Mayuran (Canada) and Kavitha (Canada),

The affectionate mother-in-law of Prathiviraj and Shyaminie,

The loving sister of Jeyendiran,

The beloved sister-in-law of Ranjini,

The cherished daughter-in-law of Shanmuganathan, and of the late Rajadurai, Pathmanathan, Nadaraj, and Sundaralingam,

The loving aunt of Roji, Nishanthi, and Niroshan,

The adored grandmother of Pranavi, Niharika, Dhuruvan, and Rudhran,and

The loving great-grandmother of Adusha and Sahana.

The final rites will take place on Sunday, 11-01-2026, at her residence, after which the mortal remains will be cremated at the Kombayan Sand Hindu Crematorium.
