She was the beloved daughter of the late Ponnuthurai and Bhagavathy, and the cherished daughter-in-law of the late Pasthiyampillai and Annamma.

She was the devoted wife of the late Alfred Samarakoon.

A loving mother to Kamalasriresian (France), Anthony (France), Danes (France), and Sashikala (Teacher at Kili-Allippalai C.C.T.K. School).

A dear mother-in-law to Sidonie (France), Keerthi (France), and Arul Jeyanesan (AJN Distributer Pvt Ltd).

A treasured grandmother to Mickael, Mailyn, Onthuwan, Jalin, and Emiline Madulin.

A beloved sister of Lalithadevi, Kamaladevi, Mallikadevi, the late Bhakiyalakshmi, Malini (France), and Valarmathi (France).

She was also the loving sister-in-law of the late Mariyathas and Natchathiram.
