Mr. Appakkutty Selvanayagam

Mr. Appakkutty Selvanayagam, originally from Sarasalai North, Chavakachcheri, residing in Leiden, Netherlands, and also in Sunnakam South, Jaffna, passed away on Wednesday, 29th October 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Appakutty Magilamma,

 and the loving son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah Nallapillai.

He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Yogeswari,

and the loving brother of the late Kanagasabai, Selvarasa, the late Selvarathinam, and Sivaneswary (Colombo).

He was also the dear brother-in-law of Sivaneswary, Sivapiragasam (Canada), Thiyagalingam, Mahendralingam (Canada), and the late Thurmani, Krishnasamy, Pathmanathan, and Parameswary.

He was the loving father of Dineshkumar (Netherlands), Padmarooba (London), Padmarajee (London), Krishnarooba (London), and Vishnuraj (Netherlands).

He was the affectionate father-in-law of Nishanthi, Sabeeshkumar, Kapilan, and Amirtharaj,

and the cherished grandfather of Nitheesh, Seyon, Roshana, Rojish, Kajeesha, Aksha, and Krash.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 30th October 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at his residence, followed by cremation at the Sunnakam Kothiyalady Hindu Crematorium.
