Mrs. Bakiyanathar Jayavathany, who hailed from Uyarappulam, Anaikottai, Jaffna as her birthplace and resided in Uyarappulam, Anaikottai, and Switzerland, passed away peacefully on 07-01-2026, attaining eternal rest.

She was the eldest and beloved daughter of the late Anthonypillai – Arokkiyam couple,

the loving daughter-in-law of the late Elias – Isabel couple,

the devoted and beloved wife of Elias Bakiyanathar,

the cherished mother of Wilson (London), Srenisran (Germany), and Lakdan (Switzerland),

the beloved mother-in-law of Mary Rositta (London), Jerusha (Germany), and Jennifer (Switzerland),

the loving grandmother of Andrian (London), Agavi (London), Riana (Germany), and Rosana (Switzerland),

the dear sister of Jesu Raja (Canada), Pushpanathan (Switzerland), Santhakumar (Switzerland), Suvanrini (Canada), and Amaladas (Switzerland),

and the loving sister-in-law of Letricia, Jeyarani, Ramonavani, Victor Kumar, Rajini, and the late Francis, Alfred, and Theresamalar, as well as Arokkiyamalar (Canada) and Arulanandam (Canada).
