31st Day Remembrance of Mrs. Chellathurai Yogamma, a native of Pungudutivu 12th Ward, Jaffna, and a resident of Colombo.

When memories return,
we lose our balance, Amma.
In every scene we see,
you stand before our eyes.

You who carried us in your body,
shared your very life, and gave us form
our divine one.
You were the highest place of virtue,
the birthplace of affection,

the very grammar of love,
the lamp that lit our lineage.
For ten long months you endured hardship,
observed countless disciplines,
and with utmost care
brought us safely into this world.

Even if a thousand relationships surround us,
Mother, there is no one in this world
who can love us the way you did.
We pray to God
that your soul may attain eternal peace.

At this time of deep sorrow following her demise, we extend our heartfelt thanks, on behalf of our family, to all those who came in person, contacted us by telephone, and conveyed their condolences and comfort through Facebook, email, RIPPAGE, and other means; to those who offered floral wreaths and garlands; and to our relatives, friends, and all kind-hearted well-wishers who have supported and helped us in every way up to this day.
