Gnanaboosani Vivekanandan, who was born in Chavakachcheri, resided in East Chavakachcheri, Nunavil, and was permanently settled in Colombo, passed away in Colombo on 09-06-2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Ramalinkam Sundarampillai and Bhakiyam Sundarampillai, and the daughter-in-law of the late Sellappa Muthuppillai ,

She was the loving wife of C.V. Vivekanandan (Attorney-at-Law), 

the beloved mother of Bhuvitharan (President's Counsel, Colombo),Vivedaran (Norway), Indhumathi (Canada), Valarmathi (Norway), Komathi (Canada), Sasitharan (Attorney-at-Law, Canada – Sasitharan Law Professional Corporation)

She was also the mother-in-law of Chandiraki (Attorney-at-Law, Colombo),Meera (Norway),Ganesamoorthy (Canada),Selvasri (Norway),Dileepan (Canada),Rajabalini (Attorney-at-Law, Canada – Sasitharan Law Professional Corporation)

She was the cherished grandmother of Valavan, Kalki, Harani, Vidhushan, Niveditha, Keerthika, Sandhiya, Saraniya, Divyan, Nithiyan, Abirami, Varshini

She was the loving sister of the late Sundarampillai Ramalingam, and the dear sister-in-law of Santhanayaki, the late Saravanamuthu, the late Selvaratnam, and Annamma.
