Mrs. Gnanambikai Sabanayagam, who was born in Singapore and resided at No. 51/5, Annasaththira Lane, Kandarmadam, Jaffna, passed away and attained the divine feet on Friday, 12-12-2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Singapore Somasundaram and Kanagamma,

the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Muthuthambi and Annamma,

the loving wife of the late Sabanayagam,

the affectionate mother of Dayalan (Technical Officer – Nallur Pradeshiya Sabha) and Yasodhara (London),

the loving mother-in-law of Kalavathi (Vadani) and Siddhiyakumar (London),

the cherished grandmother of Vishali, Priyangan (London), and Sineka (London),

the beloved sister of the late Thirunavukkarasu, Kamalambikai, Yogambikai, Kanagasundaram, and of Yogeswari, Sivapathasundaram, and Pushparani,

and the sister-in-law of the late Ariyanayagam, Ruby, Mani, and Mannayagam.

The final rites will be held on Sunday, 14-12-2025, at 11:00 a.m. at her residence, after which the mortal remains will be cremated at the Kombayanmanal Hindu Cemetery.
