Mrs. Kamaladevi Balasingham

Kamaladevi Balasingam, originally from Irupitty,  Pungudutivu 5th ward, Jaffna, and a resident of Bünde and Selm in Germany, passed away peacefully on  on Saturday, 2nd August 2025.

She was the beloved eldest daughter of the late Ilakupillai and Neelambal, and the loving eldest daughter-in-law of the late Sellappa and Sellamma.

Beloved wife of the late Balasingam,

Loving mother of Sarojini (Saro, France), Bhuvanendran (Bhuvi, Germany), and Yasodhini (Yaso, Germany),

Affectionate mother-in-law of Aruna (Germany) and Maheswaran (Germany),

Dear grandmother of Kritharan, Luxkanth, Abinaya, Dwaraka, Deepika, and Sarmika,

Cherished great-grandmother of Jathursha, Archika, and Archikan,

Loving sister of the late Thanabakyam (retired teacher), Thilagavathy (Chinnamma, Sri Lanka), the late Shanmugapuvathy, Laxmanan (Logan, London), Yogeswari (Yoges, Sri Lanka), Yogalakshmi (Kili, retired teacher – Sri Lanka), the late Selvanathan (Selvan), Sulochana (Prema, Germany), and Jaganathan (Jegan, London),

Dear sister-in-law of the late Thanabalasingam (retired teacher), Sargunasingam, Akhileswari, Ranganathan, Viswanathan, Nageswari, Gunarathnam, and Vasugi,
