Mr. Kathiravelu Sivarasa

Mr. Kathiravelu Sivarasa, from Analaitivu, 3rd Ward, Jaffna, and residing in Oberburg, Wasen im Emmental, Switzerland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Kathiravelu and Mrs. Manoonmani (Parvathi), and the loving son-in-law of the late Mr. Manickavasagar (Desingarajah) and Mrs. Rajalakshmi (Thangamani) of Mankumban, 5th Ward.

He was the devoted husband of Mrs. Chandrika,

and the loving father of Praveen and Sanjeevan.

He was the dear brother of Sivamani, Vasanthadevi, Gunasekaran (Krishnan), Vamadevan, and Pradeepan.

He was also the beloved brother-in-law of the late Thirunavukkarasu, Chandirabalan, Jegatheeswari (Selvi), Chandirakala, Vanmathi, Kanchana, Jayakanthan, the late Radhika, Subathira, Jayachandran, and Jayadevan.

He was the dear cousin of Satchithanandam, Thillairajah, Shanthi, Vaani, and Dayanthi.

He was the loving uncle of Nishanthi, Harikaran, Varakajan, Saruyan, Vinojan, Vanujan, Yasmi, Akisan, Logith, Venujan, Lakshi, Yagin, and Peter.

He was the beloved great-uncle of Neerthika, Rammika, Jeythan, Prithika, Pragathi, Saigarish, Ronjana, and Susana.

He was the loving uncle (younger brother of father) of Ajanta, Abinaya, Anusan, and Aparna.

He was the beloved grandfather of Amuthisan, Amsika, Arjun, Oluvia, and Ari.
