Mr. Kathirgamatthambi Sithiravel, who was born in Sambaltivu, Trincomalee, later resided in Selvanagar, Kilinochchi, and was presently living at Magiyappitti, Sandilipay, Jaffna, passed away at the feet of the Lord on Tuesday, 06-01-2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Kathirgamatthambi and Pakkiyam,

the beloved son-in-law of the late Kanagaratnam and Nagaratnam,

the loving husband of Pushparatnam (Pushpam),

the affectionate father of Sangeetha, the late Sanjeev, and Sujeev,

the loving father-in-law of Kamsan and Jenitha,

the fond grandfather of Asna and Asmith,

the loving brother of Ramanathan,

the beloved brother-in-law of Jeyam, Mahesh, Karuna, Laghna, Kamalesh, Manoharan, and Selvi,and the brother of Devan, Shanmugam, Ravichandran, Selvi, Vasanthi, and Rani.

The final rites will take place on Saturday, 10-01-2026 at 10:00 a.m. at his residence, after which the mortal remains will be cremated at the Pathuppanaiyadi Alaveddy Hindu Cemetery.
