Mrs. Mahalingam Padmavathi , who hailed from Irupiddy, 6th Ward, Pungudutivu, Jaffna, resided in Jaffna and was later living in Canada, passed away on Tuesday, 20.01.2026.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ganapathipillai Visalatchi,
The beloved daughter-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Subbiah Parvatham from Analaitheevu,
The loving mother of Murugavel (Canada) and Poongothai (Canada),
The beloved mother-in-law of Pramila and Vijay,
The affectionate grandmother of Cheran Cholan, Kumaran, Madhavan, Thulasi, and Kapilan,
The sister of Panchatcharam (Retired Government Officer, Canada), Chellathurai (Retired Government Officer, Canada), Saraswathi, and the late Logeswari, and
The sister-in-law of the late Kanakamma and Thampaiya.
Born into a family rich in educational excellence, she rendered distinguished service as a teacher and was a person of noble character. On the occasion of her passing, RIPPAGE expresses its deepest condolences.
