Mrs. Malarmakal Thiruganasambanthar

Mrs.  Malarmakal Thiruganasambanthar, fondly known as Malar Mangal, who was born and lived in Thalaikatti, Velanai West, Jaffna, and resided in Northolt, London, United Kingdom, passed away on Tuesday, 28th October 2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Mr. Namasivayam and Mrs. Parvathipillai,

and the loving daughter-in-law of the late Mr. Rasiah and Mrs. Sellamuthu.

She was the beloved wife of Mr. Thiruganasambanthar (Sambanthan)

and the loving mother of Sulochana, Sarasambikai, the late Kamalanathan, Kananathan, Jayagowri, the late Valarmathi, Dayanandan, and Kanthan.

She was also the dear sister of the late Punithavathy, Kailasapillai, and Selvanthinathan,

and the affectionate sister-in-law of the late Pasupathipillai, Bhagavathy, Rasalakshmi, and Balasingam, Shanthi.

She was the beloved mother-in-law of the late Kanagaratnam, Maheswaran, Ariyamalar, Divakaran, Muralitharan, Sudhanithi, and Subajini.

 She was also the loving grandmother of Mayuran – Jeevitha, Gajaruban – Sangeetha, Ilakshan – Thilagavathy, Maghisan – Darshana, Sashireka – Sivasuthan, Priyanthi – Senthooran, Madhushan, Janani, Dayani – Krishan, Abarnath, Akshayan, Sindhusa – Bhavesan, Darshika – Gowthaman, Harison, Abishan, Abisha, Thishan, and Nikisha.

She was the affectionate great-grandmother of Saswin, Agasthiyan, Ayana, Aghan, Sharuk, Aneesh, Kishanan, Akshan, Ananya, Aarthi, Ashani, Rithvik, Yathra, Paira, and Ruthra.
