Obituary Message
Mangaiyarkarasi Kandiah, originally from Pallai, Kilinochchi, and formerly residing in Pallai, Germany (Berlin, Warendorf), and later settled permanently in Kokkuvil, Jaffna, passed away on Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Sinnathambi and Paakiyam,
the cherished daughter-in-law of the late Sellappa and Annapooranam,
and the loving wife of the late Kandiah.
She was the affectionate mother of Vishnukandan (Teacher) and Kugatharsini (Australia).
She was the loving sister of the late Krishnananthan, Yogananthan, Vivekananthan, Satchithananthan (Canada), the late Jeyananthan and Murugananthan (Retired Adhipar), and the dear sister of Sivanandan (Retired Postal Officer) and Shanmugananthan (Retired Assistant Planning Officer).
She was the beloved mother-in-law of Tharani (Teacher) and Dushyanthan (Engineer – Australia).
She was the precious grandmother of Kethakini, Thachakini, Sangavi, Dheshvin, and Gavin.
She was also the dear sister-in-law of the late Nadarajah, Nageswari, the late Balasubramaniam, Parameswaran, the late Saraswathi, Gnanasekaram, Gnanachoundary, Parameswari, Rajeswari, and the late Rajanithi and Sivanandan.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 20th November 2025 at 10:00 AM, following which the cremation will take place at Kombayan Manal Hindu Crematorium.
