Manjuladevi Kumaralingam, who was born in Mandaitivu, Jaffna and resided in Brampton, Canada. 

 

 

You came into our lives like a divine mother,
Gave us comfort, and took away our sorrows.
It’s been four years now, dear Mother
Still, the pain has not healed.
Our hearts keep searching for you,
We cry out in grief.

 

The entire land remembers you,
Today, we see your face as that of a goddess.
Day by day, we offer flowers in your memory,
We worship you as a divine soul.
For as long as we live,

We will honor you with closed eyes.

Mother, we close our eyes and wait
Hoping you will appear in our dreams.
In that hope, we forget our worries!!!

 

We pray to the Almighty
That your soul may rest in peace.
