We regret to inform the passing of Mr. Manuvel Jayakumar, born in Veeranagar, Trincomalee, and residing in Ilinganagar, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, 09 November 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Manuvel and Mrs. Rasamani,

the beloved son-in-law of Mr. Sadasivam and Mrs. Thurayamma,

the loving husband of Mrs. Jayakumari (Kuma),

the cherished father of Ushanthini, Nishanthini (Norway), Anojan, and Rushanthan,

the dear brother of Sivaloganayagi, Pushparaja, Santhini Devi, and Mary Jesintha, and of the late Lillymalar and Inbamalar,

the affectionate brother-in-law of Raja, Sangari, Yoga, Kanthi, Shanthi, and of the late Jeya, Raju, Nageswari, Gunam, Sinnathambi, and Shanmugasundaram,

the loving father-in-law of Jeyaraj, Jenni Jerome (Norway), and Thilakshini Ahana,

and the beloved grandfather of Nikshani, Nirushan, Dilan, Riyan, Remitha, and Tamilini.

The funeral service of the late Mr. Manuvel Jayakumar will be held at his residence on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at around 10:30 a.m., after which the remains will be taken to the Trincomalee Hindu Cemetery for burial rites.
