Mr. Maylvaaganam Kanthaiya (Thambiyaiya)

Maylvaaganam Kanthaiya (Thambiyaiya), originally from Solangkanei, Karanavai West, later residing in Paththaimeni Achchuveli, and most recently in Scarborough, Canada, passed away on Thursday, 27th November 2025.

 

He was the beloved son of the late Kanthaiya and Parvathy, and

 

The loving son-in-law of the late Selvarasa and Thangamma.

 

He was the devoted husband of Padmasucheela (weavi),

 

The loving father of Madanalayini (Madana), Dayalan (Daya), Sivadharshan (Darshan), Dushiyanthan (Dushi), and Pavithra,

 

The dear father-in-law of Sabesan, Vijayananthini, Jeewitha, Nithuja, and Sajamuhan,

 

The beloved brother of the late Thampipillai, Arumugam, Rathinam, Balasundaram, Maheswari, and Vellaiyappa,

 

The loving brother-in-law of the late Rasamma, Parameswari, Rasiah (SKR), Kanagamma, Chinnathambi, Pushpamalar, Padmavanitha, and Padmalayini, Padmapaskaran (Canada – Appan), the late Dharma Paskaran, and Dharmalayini (Chithra).

 

He was also the cherished grandfather of Sulakshika, Sanojan, Jasmitha, Ashwin, Akshayan, Rushan, Prithika, Aathana, Kishara, Ritheesh, Riyana, Aneesh, Vaneesha, and Arjunan.
