We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Parameswari Velupillai, who was originally from and resided in Theththavadi Idaikadu. She peacefully attained eternal rest on Saturday, 26th July 2025, in Jaffna.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Kanapathipillai and Sinnaththangam,

the cherished daughter-in-law of the late Namasivayam and Ponnamma,
and the devoted wife of Mr. Velupillai.

She was the loving mother of Poornima (Canada) and Velnithi (London),dear mother-in-law of Prasanna (Canada) and Indhuja (London),
and adored grandmother of Kavin, Dushan, Karunya, and Kavinyah.

She was also the beloved sister of the late Vallinayagi, the late Balasundaram, Vijayalakshmi, and Selvanayaki.

Her funeral rites will be held on Sunday, 27th July 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at her residence, followed by cremation at the Idaikattu Samithidal Cemetery.
