1st Year Remembrance of Late. Sanmuganathan Manokaran, a native of Inuvil, Jaffna, and resident of Balangoda, Ratnapura.
You lived a life of dignity and honour in this world,
raising our family name high like a star in the sky
our beloved father, our divine guide.
Though it has been a year since you joined the Lord,
your presence still stands strong before us every day.
Even if we had a thousand dawns to smile through,
you were the special gift from God
a gentle soul who stood by us to share our sorrows.
From form to feelings, and now formless in spirit,
you shine brighter than ever before
now living only in our memories,
and today marks a full year of your heavenly journey.
