Mr. Santhirasekari Thamilvanan, who was born in Periyakulam, Nedunkeni, Vavuniya, and resided in London, United Kingdom, passed away on Saturday, 1st November 2025.

 

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Ponnambalam Santhirasekari (former Principal of Nedunkeni Maha Vidyalayam) and Mrs. Chellachi (former Principal).

 

He was also the loving son-in-law of the late Dr. V. Subramaniam (Mullaimani, former Mullaitivu Zonal Director of Education) and Mrs. Parameswari.

 

He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Sugandhi (former teacher of Ottusuttan Maha Vidyalayam),

 

loving father of Thamilini and Kapilan,

 

and dear father-in-law of Pandian Gowrishankar.

 

He was the beloved brother of Thamilarasi (London), late Thamilvashan, late Thamilazhagan, late Thamilchelvan, late Thamilchelvi, Thamilvaani (Canada), Thamilgnanan (London), and Thamilmalar (London).

 

He was also the dear brother-in-law of Anbazhagan, Santhanayagi, Thillainathan, Balachandran, Malarvizhi, Karunakaran, Gnanaki, Elankumaran, Suba, and the late Kapilan.

 

He was the beloved uncle of Paramalingam, Komala, and Thilaganathan,

 

affectionate granduncle and uncle-in-law to many nieces and nephews,

 

and a dearly loved grandfather to his grandchildren.
