Obituary Message
Originally from Pungudutivu, 7th ward as her birthplace and residing in Canada, the late Saraswathy Somasundaram (Visuvappa) passed away on Saturday, 23-08-2025 in Canada.
She was the eldest daughter of the late Ayyathurai and Sivakolunthu,
the beloved daughter-in-law of Pasupathipillai and Chellamma,
and the loving wife of Somasundaram (Visuvappa).
She was the affectionate mother of Akilatharan, Udhayatharan, and the late Deepatharan.
She was also the loving aunt of Suganya and Jothirubini,
and the beloved sister of Chandralakshmi, Sarojadevi, Yamunarajah, and Yogarajah.
She was the dear sister-in-law of Perampalam, the late Sundaralingam, and Lingeswary, Sashikala, as well as the late Sundaralingam, Thavamanidevi, Rukmanidevi, and Paramalingam.
She was the cherished grandmother of Sneha, Kishana, Tharanish, Thenuka, Karanika, and Pramika.
