Sathyasoothy Kunaseelan, originally from Kaithady, Jaffna, and a resident of Keswick, Canada, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Chithambaranathar Kandaiya and Rajeshwari, and the loving daughter-in-law of the late Thiyagarajah and Mangaiyarkarasi.

She was the cherished wife of Gunaseelan Thiyagarajah (Tatlow Broiler Bar & Restaurant) and the loving mother of Akshiya.

She was the dear sister of Nathan (Real Estate Agent) and the beloved sister-in-law of Gnanaseelan, Sudha, Latha, Kavitha, and Arulmathi (Sentha), as well as the late Sivathasan and Ravi.

She was also the loving aunt of Ushmitha, Sishviya, Lakshiya, Abinaya, Charuka, Narthaki, Janushan, Thakshan, Avinesh, Sharmika, Kishen, and Gnanavarman.
