It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Sellaiah Selvaratnam, originally from Maththiravalavu, Valvettithurai, and residing in Montreal, Canada. He peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

He was the beloved youngest son of the late Mr. Sellaiah and Mrs. Kathirasipillai, and the cherished son-in-law of the late Mr. Thiyagarajah and Mrs. Thangarathnam of Kokkuvil.
He was the loving husband of Jeyasiri (Jeya).

He was the dear brother of the late Rasarathinam (Rasa), the late Chinnathurai (Amman), and Jegathevi.

He was the beloved brother-in-law of Sulochana - late Kathirgamathampi, Jeyarajah - Sivasakthi, late Jeyajeeva - Parkunarajah, Jeyavana - Sivarajahpillai, Jeyakumar - Yasodhara.

He was the loving father of Gnanavel, Sakthivel, Krishnadevi, Senthivel, Krishnaveeni, Sivanandhavel, Panchalingam, and the late Jeevakumar (child).
