He was also the dear brother of the late Sellamanickam and Thurairajah, and the loving brother-in-law of Rajalakshmi and Rukmani, He was the beloved father-in-law of Kathanayagi, Santha, the late Sivanesan, Usha, and Nanthaseelan, He was the grandfather of Nilani, Maria Prakasini, Marin Prakash, Sinthu–Vinoth, Maniyarasan, Nithilan, Nayanthan, Kajani, Jeevana, and Kavithan, and the loving great-grandfather of Sivin and Divina.
