She was the beloved eldest daughter of the late Apputhurai - Thilagavathiyar couple,

the beloved wife of the late Kandasamy,

the beloved mother of Eeswaranathan (Melbourne), Arunagirinathan (Giri - Melbourne), Senthilnathan (Senthil - Sanganatham Radio Announcer, Melbourne),

the beloved mother-in-law of Niranjini (Melbourne), Subashini (Melbourne),

and the beloved grandmother of Shambika, Abhiramya, Kavipriya and Vaishalini.
