Siththar sinnaiah Anantham, originally from Thallaiyappulam Karaveddy and residing in London, UK, passed away on Sunday, 07-09-2025.
He was the youngest son of the late Siththar Chinnaiya and Vairathai,
and the beloved brother of the late Kanmani, Chinnathangam, Mrs. Bhuvaneswari Duraisingam (Canada), Mrs. Sellachi Ilayathambi, Sothilingam, and Uruthiran (Karaveddy).
He was the loving uncle of Pushpamalar (Sri Lanka), Pushparani (Canada), Pushparasa (Canada), Pushpabalan (Canada), Pushpadevan (Denmark), Pushpadevi (Kuwait), Mahadevan (Canada), Sugirthamalar (Canada), Malini (Canada), Vamadevan (Denmark), Easwaran (Canada), Sritharan (Norway), Santhini (Canada), Sudhasini (Canada), Sureswaran (Norway), Thilakarani (Sri Lanka), Selvanesan (France), Kannathasan (Canada), Kalanithi (Canada), and Latha (Canada).
He was also the affectionate elder uncle of Devika (Norway), Sathyadevi (Sri Lanka), Karunadevi (Switzerland), Malarvizhi (France), Sumathi (Sri Lanka), Vani (Canada), Thileepan (Canada), Sivadhasan (Canada), and Chithra (Sri Lanka).
He received his primary education at Kattaiveli M.M. School, his secondary education at Nelliady Central College, pursued vocational training at Kokkuvil Technical College, and higher education at the Faculty of Economics, University of Jaffna. In London, he served with dedication at the Refugee Rehabilitation Organization, TRTEC, and several Tamil Sunday Schools, devoting his life in service to his country and community.
