Dr. Stanislaus Charles Thirukumaran, originally from Sillalai and a resident of Kopay South, Kumarapuram, passed away peacefully on Monday, 24 November 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Dr. Pethuruppillai Sandiyappillai (Paakiyam Hospital) and Mary Theresa,

and the loving son-in-law of the late Ambalavanar Kumarasamy and Mangaiyarkarasi.

He was the devoted husband of Thaneshwari (Retired Deputy Principal, Kopay Maha Vidyalayam).

He was the loving father of Dileepkumar and Saranya,and the affectionate father-in-law of Kumuthini and Sukirthan.

He was the cherished grandfather of Akshara, Aakarshan, Aayushan, and Aaravshan, who were the light of his life.

He was the dear brother of Thavarasa (Germany), Mary Magdalene (Germany), and Ravindran (Denmark),
and the loving brother of the late Pamila, the late Bavvireous Jayakumaran, and the late Vasanthakumaran.

He was the beloved brother-in-law of Kumaratharsan, Pancharsan, Kamaleswari, Nageswari, Anantheswari, Kumareswari, Kugathasan, and Kengeswari.

Final respects may be paid on Friday, 28 November 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at E-Sons Funeral Service, No. 148, Main Street, Jaffna.Following this, a Requiem Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Jaffna.
