Mr. tharmarasaJeyarasa, who was born in Kopay, Jaffna, and resided in Lingenfeld, Germany, passed away in Germany on Monday, 08 December 2025.

He was the eldest son of the late tharmarasa and Pooranam,

and the eldest son-in-law of the late Yogarathinam (Sivam) and Saraswathi.

 He was the loving husband of Menatha

and the devoted father of Mahindhan, Vashini, and Thatchayini.

 He was the dear father-in-law of Kavindhan (Switzerland).

He was the beloved brother of Kantharajah (Germany), Hemaseeli (London), Ketheeswararajah (Sri Lanka), Hemalatha (Sri Lanka), and Hemasala (Sri Lanka).

He was the loving brother-in-law of Thenmozhi (Germany), Sritharan (London), Nithiyanandhanithi (Sri Lanka), Sivalingam (Sri Lanka), Satheeskumar (France), Dharmapriya (France), and Renuka (Switzerland).

He was also the dear brother-in-law of Anusiya (France), Sudharshan (France), and Ganesalingam (Switzerland).

He was the affectionate uncle of Sadhuja, Karushan, Rasikka, Akshaya–Niboshan, Arshan, Amshan, Rebecca, Rathusan, and Rinojan,

and the loving uncle-in-law of Pavithin–Samshiha, Vitharan, Akshaya, Krithika, Thushika, Kabisran, Abira, and Aaruthi.
