Mrs. Thambipillai Sinnamma

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Thampipillai Sinnamma, originally and residually from Meesalai, Jaffna, who attained the Lord’s feet on Wednesday, 10 September 2025.

 
She was the beloved daughter of the late Sellappa and Karpagam,

 

and the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Vinasiththampi and Sinnappu,

 

 She was the beloved wife of the late Vinasiththampi Thampipillai,

 

 and the loving sister of the late Rasaiya,

 

 as well as the beloved sister-in-law of the late Sinnamma, Ilaiyapillai and Kunjamma.

 

She was the loving mother of the late Paakiyam, Malligadevi, Chandrasegaram, Kamalambikai, Manorani (Germany), Thanalakshmi (Retired Teacher), Gunasegaram (Germany), Arulanandam (London) and Krubanantham,

 

She was also the affectionate mother-in-law of Krishnasamy (Aiyannai), Dharmalingam, Thangamma (Retired Administrative Assistant), Dharmarasa, Nadarajasundaram (Germany), Gunasegaram (Retired Branch Manager of P.No.Kooda), Vathanambikai (Germany), Vasantha (London) and Rani,

 

She was the cherished grandmother of Sentheepa–Sasikumar, Pradeeban–Kisandhini, the late Kumararaj, Elandhirayan–Isuru, Thisani–Surain, Nilanthi–Dushikaran, Susheelan–Swadhika, Niranjan–Jeevitha, Nirupan–Kularevathi, Nitharsan–Prasanthi, Krishana, Thilakshan, Thilakshana, Dharmikhan, Deepika, Yaginthan, Dilanthi–Mar, Dayani and Sophiyan,

 

She was the treasured great-grandmother of Lonisa, Kosika, Pugosikan, Yasodhara, Gayathri, Suthika, Asmina, Visakan, Saswin, Anish, Bairav, Saira, Vidhursini, Yadhurskan, Kazhmika, Thamsini, Siyanavi, Thasmini, Lian and Iyali, along with many other beloved little ones,

 

The final rites will take place on Thursday, 11 September 2025 at around 10:00 a.m., followed by burial.
