Mr. Thambiyappa Balathayananthan, a native of North Mayiliyathanai, Kerudavil, and a resident of West Kondavil, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 01 November 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Thambiyappa and Sivayogarathinamma,

Son-in-law of the late Sivasambu Kathirasipillai and his wife,

Brother of the late Thavaputhiran, Vivekananthan, Yogeswari, Amirthananthar, Perananthamalar and Satchithananthan,

Loving husband of Sivagnanam (Retired Teacher),

Dear father of Kasthuri (Development Officer, Divisional Secretariat, Uduvil) and Kapilan (Former Grama Niladhari, Divisional Secretariat, Nallur),

Affectionate father-in-law of Gunaseelan (Development Officer, Ministry of Agriculture, Northern Province) and Sujatha (Former Audit Examiner, Audit Department),

Fond grandfather of Sharukesi, Gobishalini, Kishani and Krithik,

Brother-in-law of the late Paakiyam, Chinnathangachi Sivamani and Thangarathinam, as well as Sivaneswari and Sarojini Devi.

The final rites will be held today, Sunday, 02 November 2025 at 02:00 PM at his residence, after which the remains will be taken to the Karaikal Hindu Cemetery, Kondavil, for cremation.
