Thambu Balasubramaniyam, originally from Pointpedro, Jaffna, and residing in Yogapuram, Mallavi, passed away on Tuesday, 18th November 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Balasubramaniyam Bhuvaneswari.

He was the loving father of Dr. P. Sayandan (Paediatric Surgeon – Jaffna Teaching Hospital),P. Janakan (Engineer – Sri Lanka Telecom, Colombo),P. Santhikan (Engineer),P. Jananthan (Engineer, Australia),M. Mathangi (Australia),and P. Venuganakan (Student).

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 19th November 2025 at 11:00 AM at the residence located at No. 38/2, Gnanabhaskarodayam, Sanga Veethi, Kalviyaangadu, and thereafter the cremation will take place at the Cemmani Hindu Crematorium.
