Mr. Thampipillai Kailasanathan

Mr. Thampipillai Kailasanathan, originally from Velanai East Amman Kovilady, resided in Switzerland, and lately in Kalviyankadu, Jaffna, passed away peacefully in Jaffna on Saturday, 11th October 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Thampipillai (Postal Department Employee) and Mrs. Ilayapillai,

the loving husband of Mrs. Ramani (Switzerland),

the cherished father of Janani (Architect), Nirosh (Engineer), Gajan (Sales Consultant), and Swetta (IT Specialist).

He was the loving brother of the late Annaletchumy, Bhagavathy (Retired Teacher), Sivapakyam (Retired Principal), Thirunavukarasu (Switzerland), Kanapathipillai (Businessman), Chithamparanathan (Retired Price Control Officer), Chithravel (Retired Regional Officer – Red Cross), and Muruganandan.

He was the dear father-in-law of Kannathasan (Certified Mechanical Technician & Supervisor – Switzerland), Sukirthana Nirosh (Certified Nurse – Switzerland), Asuthan (Certified Mechanical Technician & Supervisor – Switzerland), and Tina (Dentist – Switzerland).

He was also the loving grandfather of Ashwin, Ishana, Kavisha, Anish, Karthikeyan, Shagana, Thiara, Devi, Shanayra, and Myla.

The funeral service will be held at his residence on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, followed by the cremation at 11:00 a.m. at the Velanai Saathi Hindu Crematorium.
