Mr. Dharmalingam Jayakumar, originally from Neervely North, Jaffna, and residing in Scarborough, Canada, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 9th August 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Dharmalingam and Mrs. Kamalanayaki, and the eldest son-in-law of the late couple Mr. Selvarajah (Durai Karaj) and Mrs. Thilagavathy.

He was the devoted husband of Pradeepa and the loving father of Ajeen, Sujeen, and Manusri.

He was the cherished brother of Jeyavathani, the late Jeyaseelan, the late Maaveerar Jeyakaran (Captain Isai Arasan), Jeyanandini, and Jeyasuthan, and the dear brother-in-law of Muruganantham, Kumaresan, Sureshkumar, Vijitha, Bhageerathi, Induka, and Cynthia.

He was the loving nephew-in-law of the late Sellathurai, Annapooranam, Lakshmi, Ammappillai, Rathinam, Rajeeswari, Goneshwari, Thanabalasingam (Chinnakkili), the late Balasubramaniam, Rajendran (Rasa), and the dear uncle to Saranya, Dharanya, Kajeewan, Praveen, Sujeena, Sugasthaa, Cheran, Yuvan, and Nethra.

He was the adored granduncle of Priyana, Sajeen, Thuvana, Riyan, Sruthi, Aruthi, Kishan, Kishana, Krish, Kishara, Koshigan, Neerajan, Aathira, and Sezhiyan.

He was also a beloved friend of members of the Jarvis Sports Club and Thaaymaan Sports Club.
