Mrs. Theivanaipillai Namashivayam

Mrs. Theivanaipillai Namasivayam, a beloved resident and native of Udupiddy, Jaffna, passed away on Sunday, 07 December 2025.

She was the loving daughter of the late Mr. Kandaiya and Mrs. Muthamma,

and the devoted wife of the late Mr. Namasivayam.

She was the cherished sister of the late Sevaratnam, Nagaratnam, Dharmalingam, and Velayutham.

She was the loving mother of Mahadevan, Srivamadevan, Sakadevan, Rathineswari, Vamadevan, and Rajeshwari.

She was the affectionate mother-in-law of Rajeshwari, Vasanthadevi, Sarojadevi, the late Sriranganathan, Saratha, and Sivarangan.

She was the treasured grandmother of Gajendhini, Kamalini, Premini, Sujendhini, Mayooran, Kavisankar, Pavishankar, Deepika, Dinesh, Sangeetha, Prasad, Shalini, Sukanaya, the late Sukanaya, Yasodharan, Kamaladarshan, Vinojan, Samuel, and Israella.

She was the beloved great-grandmother of Monisha, Karuneesan, Kishan, Yasvini, Danisha, Varnisha, Kapishan, Akshana, Aaryan, Milan, Mark, Tinuja, Henuka, Abishan, Kamsayini, Karnika, Olivia, Ryan, Edwin Joel, Liandave, and Michael.

Her final rites will be held on Friday, 12 December 2025 at 11:00 AM at her residence on Thuvani Road, Udupiddy West. Cremation will follow at the Valvai Hindu Crematorium.
