Mr. Thirunavukkarasu Shanmugaraja, originally from and residing at Ramuppillai Road, Kokkuvil West, Jaffna, passed away on Saturday, 06.12.2025.

He was the eldest son of the late Thambu Thirunavukkarasu and Thangarathinam.

He was the beloved son-in-law of Ponnuthurai Muthurathinam and Amma.

He was the loving husband of Thavamalar Thevi.

He was the affectionate father of Niroopika (Teacher – Kilinochchi Konavil Maha Vidyalayam) and Amuthini (Jaffna District High Court).

He was the dear father-in-law of Saseelan (Provincial Land Commissioner’s Office) and Pradees.

He was the loving brother of Thavamanithevi, Radha, Thavarasa (Retired Officer – Pradesha Sabha), Pushparaja, Lingarasa, the late Thanarasa, Thanavathi, and Inbam.

He was the beloved grandfather of Gajanan, Saithanya, Pavithra, and Mithran.

His final rites will be held on Sunday, 07-12-2025 at around 11:00 AM, after which the cremation will take place at the Kompayanmanal Hindu Crematorium.
