Can anything ever replace the comfort of her lap?
As we joyfully leapt through childhood,
You embraced us with love, dearest Amma.
In a world that mocks from afar,
You carried us forward without letting us stumble even for a moment.
As the days go on,
We continue to see you in every shadow.
Though years may pass,
Your memory never leaves us.
In every birth we may take,
We pray to be born again as your children, Amma.
