Mr. Xavier Rosario Francis was born in Colombo and lived in Kilinochchi and Ariyalai–Jaffna before migrating to Canada and passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025 in Toronto.

Respected son-in-law of the late Savarimutthu and the late Philipachi (Naranthanai),

Beloved husband of the late Helen Mabel Francis (Retired Teacher),

Loving brother of the late Sebastian Francis and Bridget Alphonse,

Affectionate brother-in-law of Ruby Francis and the late Alphonse Pedurupillai,

Ever-loving father of the late Yustella Jasmin, Mariastella Charmin, Reginorld Francis, Christella Eugene, Rev. Fr. Montford Francis CMF, the late Anstella Virgin, Mezenod Francis, and Judenorld Francis (Jude – JC’s Banquet Hall),
