In cherished memory of Late. Yathavarayar Katpakam, born in Irupittiy, Pungudutivu 6th ward, Jaffna, formerly residing at No. 24, Katson Street, Vattakkachchi, Kilinochchi, and later in Bobigny, France.

Beloved embodiment of love,
Abode of smiles,
Flower among women, our dearest Karpagam…

You guided us with wisdom,
Nurtured us with countless words of care,
And in moments of sorrow,
You held us close in your warm embrace.

With open eyes and an open heart,
You would come and go from all directions, dearest mother.
Yet, in just a fleeting moment,
Two years have passed
Since you left this earthly world.

If only, even once,
You could grace us again with your beloved face,
Perhaps it would soothe
The ache that will never fade from our hearts.

We pray to the Almighty
For the eternal peace of our beloved angel’s soul.
