Mrs. Yogammah Balasingam, who was born in Puloly South, Jaffna, resided in Matuvil South, and was living in Mississauga, Canada, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 12th October 2025.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Sathasivam and Theivaanai,
the loving daughter-in-law of the late Kanthiah and Parvathy.
She was the beloved wife of the late Balasingam (Police).
She was the loving mother of Yogini, Balini, Balayogendran, Bali, Kannan, Nandini, Balanirmalan, and Sridhar (Steve).
She was the affectionate mother-in-law of Ramanathan, Appan, Ranjini, Babu, Sree Vidya, Navindrarajah, Ramja, and Kosi.
She was the loving sister of the late Ponmalar, Rathinagopal, Pakkiam, Sivapatham, Saraswathy, Magalingam, and Parvathipillai.
She was the dear sister-in-law of the late Sivagnanam, Vinayagamoorthy, Saraswathy, Thangavelayutham, and Sivamani,
as well as SarojiniDevi, the late Gunaveerasingam, Devaranjithamalar, Sathyanathan, the late Sarkunanathan, and Sakunthaladevi.
She was also the beloved cousin-sister of the late Balasubramaniam, Sellachipillai, Vettrivelu, Kamala, Parameswary, and the late Pathmanathan.
She was the affectionate grandmother of Nisha, Dushi, Asha, Kosa, Ramjigan, Chandru, Viveka, Thooran, Sindhu, Kirus, Jenny, Priya, Praveen, Laksha, Shaka, Lakshan, Nilu, Nisan, Nixon, Utthaman, Thamizhchelvan, Vinoth, Vidoosha, Sajika, Tharan, Nirjika, Dinesh, Navijigan, Najika, Sanjigan, Danikka, Rakshika, Jasviya, Jeevathsna, Sirena, and Rishab,
the loving great-grandmother of Ramsaran, Raja, Maran, Kajol, Shanaya, Rikan, Veeran, Shaya, Adheena, and Aseena.
